Alex Celler was born in Thessaloniki, Greece. This might not be the first place that comes to mind when speaking about electronic music, but during the late 90's and 00's names like Juan Atkins, Sven Vath, Jeff Mills, and Ricardo Villalobos visited the city regularly inspiring a whole new generation with the sounds of house & techno. Soon enough, Alex decided to move to London in 2004 where he quickly got involved in the scene collecting records, djing regularly and producing music. A few years later in 2009, his strong releases on Tuning Spork, All Inn and Freak n Chic (along with good friend Anthea) helped him establish himself as one of the promising upcoming names of his generation. Alex’s distinctive DJ style hints towards an obsessive attitude to crate digging – playing out an impressive blend of rare, old and modern tracks. His sound comes deep yet energetic, with strong bass lines and loose rhythms keeping the emphasis on the groove.
